To get started, four team members were trained over Zoom on Tuesday afternoon. They plan to expand RedChirp to additional tasting room staff by the end of the week. Coursey Graves received their first incoming text request - a question about booking a tasting in their Healdsburg Lounge - less than 3 hours after RedChirp’s web chat feature went live on CourseyGraves.com.
Incoming, Outgoing, Promotional, and Operational Texting
Adam Ryan, Director of Sales and Marketing at Coursey Graves, has put together a comprehensive plan to leverage the power of text messaging throughout the organization.
“Text message marketing will be integrated as an ancillary service to our email marketing campaigns,” says Adam, who plans to use RedChirp to communicate promotions, follow-up after purchases, billing reminders, and more.
Texting From Their Landline
At the Bennett Mountain Estate and the Healdsburg Lounge, text messaging will be the core communication method between their tasting room and visitation referral sources. RedChirp text-enabled Coursey Grave's existing landline and the Estate Hosts will use that Team Number for those communications. The Coursey Graves staff chose the perfect combination of their own individual numbers, and the shared Team Number, to communicate efficiently as a team.
Automated Shipment Notifications
“I am especially excited to explore text communications as a replacement for transactional emails like receipts, notifications, and confirmations” reports Adam. To that end, Coursey Graves was excited to be the first winery to launch RedChirp’s newest feature: automated shipment notifications.
These text confirmations are fully customizable, automatically triggered by order fulfillment in their connected Commerce7 account, and facilitate friendly and helpful two-way communication with their customers.
