Mitroff Consulting & Associates has been retained to conduct a search for the General Manager for the Calistoga Depot Provisions owned by the Boisset Collection. Founded in 1961, Boisset Collection binds the old and new worlds. Boisset Collection owns more than twenty-five prestigious wineries and brands.
This newly created career opportunity provides the finalist the opportunity to develop the strategic plans for future growth and capitalizing upon opportunities for growth and profitability. The candidate will have their “footprint” on what will become an iconic location in the Wine Country.
Here is a brief version of what we are seeking:
- five plus years of proven successful general management experience, especially with luxury brands and demonstrated excellence in strategic vision
- outstanding hospitality skills
- solid finance and accounting skills with proven ability to set and achieve budgets and forecasts while still maintaining the highest standard of quality; proficient compiling data, reports and presenting statistical analysis
- solid skills in positioning brands and execution of the positioning strategy
- ability to present plans to staff and to build buy-in between management groups; ability to execute plan to staff
- self-starter; able to “roll up one’s sleeves” and get the job done
- a passion for artisan, gourmet culinary products and the wine industry
- demonstrated ability to be diplomatic, hold one’s position, and not deviate from goals
- strong computer knowledge, skills and abilities
- excellent problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills are crucial
- possess high energy level, commitment to excellence, a balanced professional, with a sense of humor and someone who shows a lifetime effort to grow and be a contributor
