Scope 1, 2, 3, what does it mean?
🏭 Scope 1 refers to direct emissions, CO2 emitted within the perimeter of the plant (carbonated raw materials, heavy and domestic fuel oil, melting and non-melting natural gas).
⚡️ Scope 2 refers to indirect emissions, which come from the electricity used to run the plant.
🚚 Scope 3 refers to other indirect emissions, that is, all other greenhouse gas emissions related to other phases of a product’s life cycle and not directly related to the plant’s operation.
