At Sunridge Nurseries, our success is a testament to the exceptional team we have cultivated for nearly 50 years. Our dedicated employees, who are not only passionate about our work but also deeply care about our mission, play an integral role in our accomplishments. The fact that 50% of our team members have been with Sunridge for over a decade speaks volumes about the integrity and values that drive our business forward.
Twice a year, our entire team comes together for a “Que Pasa” meeting where we reflect on the season and prepare for the next, discussing progress and goals from every aspect of the business. It is a great time for the team to collectively communicate, team build and inspire growth for the season ahead. At our most recent meeting, company President, Rick Burnes reported notable trends such as our increase in table grape sales and a shift from potted greenvines to dormant vines leading our sales as we compare to last year. The team was also excited to hear construction is still on track for our new state-of-the-art callous facility to be complete and ready for use this coming season.
It was an honor to have co-founder, Terrie Stoller present as company President, Rick Burnes revealed the formal launch of the Stoller Family Scholarship program. An initiative that underscores our unwavering commitment to giving back to the families who are an indispensable part of our journey. As Chair and driver of the program, Terrie was delighted to see her long dreamed vision come to fruition.
