A look at how Hogwash Rosé turned their label green

When Hogwash Rosé asks us to sustainably print a high-performance, premium label that won’t cost them an arm and a leg, we’re happy to say that we’re in position to offer a helping, crafty hand.

See, most Post-Consumer Waste (PCW) stocks are low-quality and expensive. Hogwash was looking for a 100% PCW stock that wouldn’t compromise the look and feel of their premium label design. Other label stocks they considered were not as white as their current stock, and most of these pricey options were 30% PCW, not 100%. And that wouldn’t cut it. But we knew that GTREE™ from G3 Label would. Not only is GTREE™ 100% PCW, it also maintains the same premium whiteness appearance and wet strength performance as their current label. But the sustainability didn’t stop there.

We also introduced Hogwash to our custom G INK™ Reflection to replace their label’s foil footprint (silver lettering). Then we improved the quality of their label by eliminating its foil’s shadow. And we improved the high build screen on the label’s pig by making it sharper and more defined. In the end, we were able to save Hogwash some monetary green, by helping them print a greener (and better) label.
