ATPGroup is pleased to announce that Hend Letaief, PhD has joined the company as Head of Technical Compliance. Hend brings over 15 years of experience in the food and beverage industry, with a strong background in viticulture and enology, food/beverage product development, compliance, and quality assurance.

Hend received her Ph.D. in Agricultural, Forest and Food Sciences from the University of Turin in Italy, where she focused on the application of chemical-physical and mechanical tests for the definition of wine grape quality. She also holds an MSc in Viticulture & Enology from L’institut Agro Montpellier in France, where she developed a new method for assessing wine micro-oxygenation through acetaldehyde testing. Hend earned her BS in Food Engineering from the Higher Institute of Food Industries of Tunisia, where she developed new acetic acid bacteria strains for producing wine vinegar.

Throughout her career, Hend has worked on a variety of research projects and has published several peer-reviewed articles. She spent seven years in academia, serving as Assistant Professor of Wine Chemistry at California State University Fresno as well as Assistant Professor of Enology and Sensory Analysis at the Higher Institute of Food Industries of Tunisia (ESIAT). Her professional experience includes working as a Technical Director for Enartis USA, where she served as the subject matter expert in wine ingredients and laboratory services, and both Director of Quality Assurance then Head of Technical Compliance/Product Development at National Beverage Corp.

As Head of Technical Compliance, Hend will oversee ATPGroup's technical compliance programs and ensure that the company meets all industry standards and regulations. She will also work closely with the company's clients to provide technical support and ensure that they are in compliance with all regulatory requirements.
