To protect the health and safety of trade partners and vintners, the 6th annual Sonoma County Barrel Auction, presented by American AgCredit, will be held in an online format for the first time. This year, members of the trade can participate in the auction in a virtual format.
Trade members can access these one-of-a-kind lots with a one-click bidding process starting Tuesday, June 16, and concluding on Thursday, June 18. The Sonoma County Barrel Auction features lots that are only available once.
“Over the years of producing this exceptional barrel auction we have had to miss some of our partners in the trade due to scheduling conflicts. While we would have loved to host all of our trade guests here in Sonoma County, we look forward to connecting with them from the comfort of their home,” says Sonoma County Vintners Executive Director Michael Haney. “These incredible auction lots are not to be missed and we are thrilled to have the virtual format to offer.”
American AgCredit, a cooperative lender and key financial partner to the wine industry, is proud to support the Sonoma County Barrel Auction in its new format.
“Through the years, we have seen world-class wines, unbelievable collaborations and remarkable auction lots,” says American AgCredit Regional Banking Executive Clay Popko. “We have no doubt this year’s innovative auction format and outstanding lots will exceed expectations again, and we are thrilled to support the wine community with this program.”
Trade registration for the 2020 Sonoma County Barrel Auction is available for licensed wholesalers, retailers and restaurateurs. To learn more or request a ticket to access the online program, visit SoCoBarrelAuction.com or contact info@sonomawine.com.
