The birthday was celebrated in the presence of the company's partners, customers, and employees.

HERTI AD was established in 1993 with one machine producing two sizes of aluminum caps. Over the years, the company has grown its operations, increasing the types, volumes, and capacities of the caps, as well as the customer base and markets to which it supplies its products. Today, HERTI produces annually 2 billion products, which are used to close almost all existing types of bottles on the market of alcoholic beverages, wine, mineral waters, olive oil, and medicines. It has customers in over 60 countries on all continents and has subsidiaries in Romania, Great Britain, France, Germany, and the USA.
Over the years, the company has produced over 25 billion caps in more than 50 sizes. Herti has a 15,313 sq.m. built-up area and 74 machines, the fastest machine producing 1,166 caps per minute. The company employs over 550 people, 57 of whom have been part of it for more than 20 years.
Herti continuously invests in environmentally friendly production. For example, last year, it implemented an innovative energy-saving printing line through the GALP Greener Aluminum Cap (Implementation of Green Innovative Production Process Under Industry 4.0) project, financed with the support of the Norwegian Financial Mechanism. This year, the company won another project that is yet to be implemented - for a sheet press and a punching machine. The project will facilitate a decrease in energy costs and optimization of production.
By the end of the year, Herti will implement its social project, which aims at a more accessible living environment in the town of Pliska, where its production base is located. With the support of its partners, the company will completely renovate the only sports ground in the city.
