Athena Press on Display at the WIN Expo - $5000 Off Retail - ONLY $48,850
How would you like to increase your press yields and your quality, while speeding up the process of pressing your grapes?  The Athena Press gives you higher yields per ton, especially in whites, while using less pressure. This reduces the heavy undesirable tannins that are trapped in the skins, which make their way into your juice from pressing at higher pressures.  Not only are press times cut almost in half, with reds pressing in 40 to 50 minutes, but also whites pressing in 1 hour to an hour 15 minutes! This faster pressing time dramatically decreases the browning in white wines.  By centrally inflating a thick elastomeric membrane vs. a side inflating thin sheet of nylon, you get a thinner cake. The thinner the cake, the easier and faster it is to get the higher yields, with less pressure (higher quality). Cleaning is also easy with the pre-piped cleaning jets, running along the side of the drum.  See the press on display at booth 152 & 153, December 2 at th
