Selective Micro Technologies (SMT) products have recently been added to EPA list N, which is list of products which are approved for use against SARS-CoV-2, better known at Covid-19. At disinfectant strength (100 ppm), SMT’s ClO2 solutions can be used as a hospital grade disinfectant. What is the recommended method of disinfection? Spraying is the easiest application of Selectrocide. Allow for a 10-minute contact time on your surface. Then, simply let the area air dry. There is no need to wipe the surface after.
Note: Heavily Soiled Surfaces Must Be Pre-Cleaned Prior to Disinfection
Required PPE: gloves and goggles. Respirator/mask are not needed in large open areas, especially with ventilation. Use of Selectrocide is not recommended in unventilated small areas.
