Key Details & Capabilities:
- Substrates: Sandprint is applied over smooth pressure-sensitive films and coated papers, making it easy to achieve a premium textured finish without needing specialty stocks.

MCC America Wines was awarded first place, joint winner in the Marketing/End Uses Group for its Astraeus Single Malt. This label produced in Napa Digital, was commended by the judges for its precise embossing and the exceptional prepress skill that was required to produce this label. The judges described the label accurately by saying, “it really is a work of art.” The label qualified for the Group award by earning first place in the Marketing/End Uses category for Beer and Spirits.
The Astraeus Single Malt also received a Special Judges Award as a nod to its outstanding craftsmanship and the very minor differences between it and the FINAT Best in Show winning label.
Napa was not the only MCC award winner. MCC Australia received recognition in the Wine category, MCC Paarl, South Africa received recognition for Flexography printing, and MCC Italy won an award for Combination Printing.
Receiving these highly coveted awards continues the MCC Napa tradition of being recognized for printing excellence by FINAT! The FINAT competition is the European equivalent to TLMI, and both are considered to be the highest award honors to win. By winning this 1st place award, the Napa team has a shot at winning a L9 World Label Award at the next Label Expo in September 2025.
